With much of my career spent photographing the west coast, I'm convinced California, Oregon and Washington are three of our most beautiful states. They have nearly 50 parks administered by the National Park Service, great coastal highways, and the Cascade and Sierra Nevada mountain ranges. The sheer magnitude of these natural assets builds a strong case for claiming this region as our nation's most scenic.
