Middle America
(24 photos)I generally think of middle America as the states east of the Rockies, west of the Mississippi, and northward to include the the Great Lake states of Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota. From autumn colors to desert badlands, this area of the country has natural features more commonly found elsewhere. The truth is, this region may surprise you with both its variety and beauty of ecosystems.
