During my three week artist-in-residency in Acadia National Park I had the opportunity to gain an intimate relationship with this great preserve. Such knowledge of subject is key for an artist to create meaningful work. Two days before the end of my stay this intimacy paid dividends through this image. As in telling a story, this piece says much about Acadia; an area known for its rocky outcroppings, autumn blueberries and coastal fog.
